In December, who doesn’t like a hometown Christmas parade?

Celebrate America – Poteau Style is a free event to the public. Held each year in July on the 4th (unless it falls on a Sunday).

Each year, in conjunction with the State of Oklahoma, with the help of the City of Poteau, hosts a City Wide Trash Off in April.

Each year the Poteau Balloon Fest offers various events that give festival goers plenty to see and do.
