Medical/Surgical Unit

The Medical/Surgical department is a 21 bed unit. The clinical-ancillary staff at Eastern Oklahoma Medical Center includes the departments of Nursing, Physical Therapy, Laboratory, Radiology & Respiratory Services. These departments offer a variety of diagnostic services to inpatients 24 hours a day, seven days a week as needed.

EOMC’s clinical staff aids physicians in the diagnosis and care of our patients and interact with practically all other departments in the medical center. EOMC’s Clinical employees are
highly-skilled and dedicated to providing quality patient care. They consistently strive to improve patient care. All Rooms are private rooms and are equipped to be monitored by telemetry if necessary for patient care.

VISITOR INFORMATION

• Visitation may be limited to immediate family only, please check with the primary nurse.
• Medical/Surgical department has a designated waiting area.

The ICU Waiting room is open at all times for family members to wait on loved ones. The EOMC Auxiliary and staff are there to lend assistance in any way they can. EOMC Medical/Surgical nurse’s are trained to provide quality care to a wide range of patients:

• Cardiac, including telemetry monitored patients
• Respiratory
• Diabetic
• Post-Surgical
• Pediatric
• Adolescent
• Geriatric
